It was one of the most memorable events indeed. Not only did I play the parts of the maid of honor, bible reader, veil and ring bearer simultaneously between the hours of 15:00 and 16:00 on the 29th of January, but my one and only brother also got married!
To tell you the truth, it was not until the mid part of the wedding ceremony that this whole matter started to sink in. I was too preoccupied with my tasks at first. I was trying hard to keep my posture straight and to keep my eyes dry and clear. But when the slow reflective song "The Power of Your Love" started playing, I steered clear from my mental to-do's. The screen in front of me drew my attention when it showed my brother and sister-in-law testifying their love for each other before the whole crowd with their hands tightly clasped together. They have grown up. I have grown up. We're fastly becoming adults. And soon my parents will become grandparents, and we will become parents ourselves with new and great responsibilities. Oh how time flies!

The picture below was taken with my dear friend Edivita. If you can see the man behind us, that's my brother who was so happy to finally finish the ceremony with little mishap. Believe me, he was really nervous the night before. See the feeling of great relief in his hands? (Hehe.)
We rented a bus to drive the whole clan to the reception hall at Raffles Hotel. It was less expensive and more efficient compared to taking several cabs.
Here is their ten course meal. I felt so stuffed! Too much food may be a feast to the eyes but deadly to the stomach. Hihi!
